On the Wednesday before he left,
Rob and I took a day to just hang out with Jonny.
 
We went to Homer and spent the day doing touristy things.
Jonny was especailly impressed with the Ninja-Bears picture.
The weather stayed really good until dinner time.
Perfect timing!
We went to Land's End for dinner and had a very good time.
On Saturday I stayed up late making a banner for us to decorate the truck in the parade.
"Peninsula's Yellow Ribbon Club" with two big flags out the back and magnetic "Support our Troops" ribbons all over. Jonny and his recruiter drove it in the Progress Day's Parade. Rob was going to get a picture of the truck all decorated, but didn't make it to the parade. Labels: Jacob, Jonny |
