| Sloth Soup |
At school, Christopher is known as "Sloth" as in Sid the Sloth because he looks like the caracter off of Ice Age.
For one of his classes, he came up with this wonderful recipe.
Sloth Soup
15 cups of fresh picked grass (you can get it right out side)
19 -30 cups of pine cones (depending on how much flavor you want)
12 cups of fresh leaves (mush be freshly plucked, no matter how long it might take)
10 cups of dandelions (must have the fuzzys still on, dont blow them all off)
ONE BIG pot FILLED with water (you can get at a stream or lake)
Directions
First, make a fire by hitting 2 rocks together and making sparks. Then put the BIG pot of water over it. Then cut up the grass leaves and dandelions. Some times I gather more leaves to have a snack while making it.
 Take the pinecones and break them up, you know, take off the little pokey thingies. When the water is at a boil you SlOWLY put in (in this order or else it won't work) 1/2 of the leaves, 1/4 the pinecones, 1/2 the grass, 1/4 pinecones, 1/2 dandelions, 1/4 pinecones,
Other half now; 1/2 the dandelions, 1/2 the leaves, 1/2 the grass, and last put (most definately not least) the last 1/4 pinecones.
While it’s cooking you might want a little snack. (THE EXTRA LEAVES!!!!!) Also while its cooking now would be a good time to invite all your friends, like Mammy, the Sabre Tooth, oh and the Little Baby might want some... you friends like that (the good ones).
OK, when its done cooking let sit for at least 10 min. it WILL be hot. You also might want to get some refreshments. You can be creative as you want with that.Labels: Chris |
