Lia Sophia Party was a HIT

This is a few of us as we snacked on some goodies during my Lia Sophia jewelry party.

Its been a very long time since I had a bunch of gals over. The last time we had any sort of party was Jacob's going away party. That was enormously enjoyable, but this was just us girls.

Poor Brooke, the Lia Sophia representative, had trouble with her ordering and was very frustrated. I encouraged her to not worry about it. Its just jewelry. I certainly have a different perspective about disappointment with all my empty nest stuff happening.

That's not to say that everyone is as carefree about their Christmas shopping as I am. Some people are really organized and have plans that need to be solidified at specific times... I hope the orders all get in on time for them.

The coolest part about tonight was looking around the room and seeing how blessed I am to know such neat women; big-hearted, loving, rich-in-spirit people. This is the kind of thing you walk away from as evidence that God gives you a little heaven to live in now before he takes you on home.

I didn't get the Princess-Fairy memo, but evidently Noreen and S.S. did! This is a picture of them measuring eachother to see if they should have some more of those cookies that Tracy brought! (Recepie to be posted soon. You GOTTA try these!!)

Speaking of Tracy; she was the winner of the bathing suit contest we had (third from the left). That's Lisa in the leopard print bikini. I got 3rd place behind Tracy and Lisa. From left to right: Me, Darla, Tracy, Jan, Catherine (hiding), Lisa and Noreen. Katie was on her cell phone and SS took the picture.

Lisa booked a party that will be at her house after the first of the year. Maybe we can have a snowman building contest if there's some snow!!

This is me looking forward to another fun party!! I'll bring hot cider and we can drink out of her pretty purple tea set and look at some more pretty jewelry.

Lisa said that Katie said that Amber might come next time! I hope we get to dress up like Princess-Faries again!
