LOST THE HOUSE

This was me last night watching the election coverage. It was even worse than the Raiders vs Seahawks, who both played a terrible game Monday. What a waste of a good Monday Night Football evening. I thought I was mad then.... This was WORSE. Not a very loving attitude, huh?

My poor kids. They just stayed out of my way. Chris knew it was extra bad when I even accidentally cussed. I never swear. (Lord, forgive me...) I'm saying that a lot since last night. I got a bad attitude from all that. I need to get out of my funk and check out the Senate races.

All the news reporters were just giddy. If they'd just report reality, people would be properly informed. I challenge anyone to ask a soldier whose actually BEEN there how the war is going. Then decide if it's "working" or not.

Ok, I'm going to quit ranting.

Jonny came in at about 9:00 pm when he got off work. When he walked in I said, "Jonny! We lost the house! >:( " His jaw dropped and he started imagining life in an apartment. He had no idea I was talking about the House of Representatives. Poor kid.

I did get some good news though. The Democrats that we lost Republican seats to are Conservative Democrats. So very liberal leadership, like Peloci, is going to have to really reach to draw them in. The likelihood of Bush being able to appeal to their Conservative leanings is very high. So that is my hope... that no matter what their label, they will vote Conservative.
