Former Soldotna resident Pvt. Jacob David Coreson, right, is shown above in this Sept. 21 photo in Kuwait with his second cousin, Major Keith Besherse. That is a great picture and it was well worth the time invested for the chance to meet with my cousin for the first time in 16 years. The fact that my duties included responsiblity for ensuring his unit arrived safely in theater was a definate bonus.
